How does Roseville Cinema serve our patrons with disabilities?

For patrons with mobility issues, we have stair-free access to screenings in Cinema 1. Unfortunately, Cinema 2 is only accessible via a number of stairs. We post session times along with their cinema number so that patrons are able to plan their trips. This access is only available for films in Cinema 1.

For patrons with mild hearing impairment, we offer headsets to amplify the audio from the film. These headsets are available free of charge from the Box Office, however, we do require a deposit which will be returned when patrons return the headsets. These headsets are available for all films.

For patrons with moderate to severe hearing impairment, we offer personal screens that display captions for the film. These screens are available free of charge from the Box Office, however, we do require a deposit which will be returned when patrons return the screens. These screens are available for selected movies, which are advertised with the label “Hearing Impaired friendly”.

For patrons with visual impairment, we offer headsets that describe the content of the film to the patron. These headsets are available free of charge from the Box Office, however, we do require a deposit which will be returned when patrons return the headsets. These headsets are available for selected movies, which are advertised with the label “Visually Impaired friendly”.

Headsets and screens are subject to limited availability and cannot be pre-booked. We will attempt to accommodate all requests, but cannot guarantee everyone will have access for all sessions. Technical issues may further restrict availability.
